Short-Film Script

     A small mage named Hatrick goes to the graveyard to visit the shrine (statue) of his deceased mentor, using magic to make a flower grow in honour for him. As he leaves the graveyard, he looks back and notices a glowing book in the hands of his mentor's statue that was not there before. Intrigued, Hatrick picks up the book and opens it.

     Inside is a list of spells. He uses a few spells (making flowers sprout up in a trail behind him, blowing bubbles, etc.) but then he realizes each time he uses a spell a part of him turns to stone. Afraid, he tries to return the book to the hands of the statue as the stone creeps up his body. Once he does, the stone disappears and he runs away. A small creature peeks out from behind a gravestone and notices the book glowing. Intrigued, it reaches its hand forward towards the book and the story ends with a black screen.
